Job Description:
The Business Analyst is a key contributor on the product management team, responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive product development in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the Director of Product Management, engineering, and business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements that support the delivery of high-impact technology solutions. This role operates in a Microsoft-based development environment, collaborating closely with engineering teams using Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and modern .NET-based solutions. Elicit, document, and manage detailed business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis. Translate business objectives into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for development teams. Analyze existing workflows and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine requirements based on technical constraints, data considerations, and system dependencies. Partner with product managers to maintain and refine the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized. Create, maintain, and manage work items (epics, features, user stories, defects) in Azure DevOps. Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role within a technology-focused organization Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured, actionable requirements Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences Benefits:
