Dental Assistant

Welcome to Dr. Jackson's practice: Cottonwood Family Dentistry! We’re a friendly, growing private dental practice in Alamosa, CO, and we’re looking for a Dental Assistant who enjoys patient care, teamwork, and being part of a practice where people truly enjoy coming to work.

If you’re organized, dependable, and take pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for, we’d love to meet you.

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Assisting the doctor during general and periodontal procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
• Taking and processing dental radiographs
• Supporting infection control and sterilization protocols
• Educating patients and helping them feel at ease
• Charting accurately and assisting with clinical documentation
• Working closely with the team to keep the day running smoothly

• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Excellent communication with patients and teammates
• Willingness to learn and grow with the practice
• Someone who takes pride in doing things the right way
• Current CO Xray Certification & Coronal Polishing
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
