Orthodontist Assistant (PT)

Elmhurst Dental Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Orthodontist Assistant to join our team! As an Orthodontist Assistant, you will work closely with our Orthodontists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. This position will require approximately 16 hours per month. Our Orthodontist sees patients one Friday and one Saturday a month, making this a great opportunity for someone seeking a few extra hours of chairside assisting each month. Candidates who are multi-specialty and cross-trained will be given preference. Elmhurst Dental Care: 333 W 1st St, Elmhurst, IL 60126

Schedule:

• One Friday per month (8 hours)
• One Saturday per month (8 hours)

Compensation:

• $22-$26 per hour (Commensurate with Experience)

Requirements:

• X-Ray certification in state of Illinois preferred
• Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback
