Who You Are:

What you will be doing:
- Communicate and reinforce the company's strategic vision and operational goals to the production team.
- Manage daily production operations, including setting production goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Lead, coach, and supervise production and transportation supervisors overseeing approximately 30 employees.
- Promote a safe work environment by monitoring facility safety conditions and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Oversee employee training and development, including onboarding new team members and reinforcing proper work methods and procedures.
- Serve as a positive leader and mentor, fostering employee engagement and promoting opportunities for growth within the organization.
- Ensure product quality by overseeing inspections and verifying that all products meet company specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective cost-control processes to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure on-time delivery of products by managing production schedules and coordinating workflow across departments.
- Maintain accurate and timely production reports and communicate operational updates to senior management and support teams (HR, Customer Service, Sales, etc.).
- Provide timely feedback on employee performance, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and operational challenges such as equipment issues or material shortages.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities by improving processes, optimizing resource utilization, and reducing waste.
- Control operational expenses by minimizing labor overtime, premium freight, and equipment repair costs.
- Lead and execute company initiatives that impact production performance, efficiency, and quality standards.
Skills You Bring:
- 5 years management experience in manufacturing environment; and Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven track record in safety accountability and responsibility
- Must have the demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce
- Must be a change agent with strong analytical abilities
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures including lean manufacturing techniques required
- Must have excellent follow through and communications skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments
- Must demonstrate proficient computer skills to include knowledge of manufacturing software, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
