Key responsibilities
* Hire, train, and schedule employees; manage staff performance; and resolve conflicts. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
* Manage bar inventory, including ordering stock from vendors, monitoring supply levels, and controlling waste.
* Oversee budgets, monitor costs, track sales, and handle cash flow and financial reporting.
* Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and compliant with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
* Plan and execute special events and promotional strategies to increase sales and attract customers.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills are essential.
* Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and basic business math is necessary.
* Able to meet deadlines and work with accountant
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and excellent customer service skills are crucial.
* Must be able to cover shifts for call ins or sick time.
* Weekends, holidays and evenings a must.
* Must be able to work well on their own, and with the board of directors and attend monthly meetings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

* Bar management: 1 year (Preferred)
