Job Description:

The incumbent is mainly responsible for the technical support of our customers.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Reply to emails and telephone calls related to field problems or requests for technical information about our products
  • Diagnose problems, guide the customer and solve problems
  • Communicate internally and externally to ensure a thorough follow up of the problem resolution process
  • Write diagnostic reports
  • Identify and document repetitive or major issues
  • Support the Sales department in answering technical queries
  • Manage and maintain the training room in order
  • Prepare training documentation
  • Train staff and customers on our products
  • Test new products before production release
  • Verify and manage technical bulletins
  • Apply RMA and quality assurance procedures
  • All other related tasks

Qualifications:

  • DSC in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Fluent in French and English (bilingualism required). English fluency is required to communicate with our international customers and suppliers
  • Flexible in task management
  • Customer-oriented and attentive to customer needs
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Available to travel outside Canada

Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years experience in technical service role or equivalent
  • Knowledge of high voltage and high frequency an asset
  • Canada
