Title: HR People Partner Location: Dublin (hybrid) Vhi Group Services DAC is seeking a dynamic and experienced People Partner (HR Business Partner) who excels in both strategic HR partnering and employee relations. This is a full-time, temporary 9-month role based in Abbey Street. The purpose of this role is to partner with the Health & Wellbeing division in Vhi, ensuring alignment of all HR activities, providing best practice advice and guidance on people issues and opportunities. The People Partner enables the development, management, and implementation of people solutions and interventions that support the business in meeting its' strategic objectives. The People Partner will work closely with their Divisional People Partner and the wider People Partner team to implement the People Strategy across the organisation and ensure the voice of the business is represented in the development of people related initiatives. What you will do: Support the Divisional People Partner and manage the local implementation of our People Strategy. Work closely with the business on the implementation of key HR programmes and activities in areas such as culture and engagement, performance management and capability assessment and development. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers ensuring alignment to the overall business strategy and the adoption of Group HR policies, processes and frameworks. Collaborate with HR centres of excellence e.g. Organisational Capability, Culture and Reward teams acting as an advocate for people initiatives and a conduit for the rollout of people initiatives with the business. Act as an advocate for the business ensuring the voice of the business and the voice of colleagues form part of the development of people initiatives and solutions. Work with the business to support strategic workforce planning, talent management and succession planning activities Use HR data and analytics to actively seek solutions and collaborate with the wider HR team and the business when opportunities for improvement Support senior and local line management on the implementation of all changes from a people perspective. Support leadership with the execution of core annual HR processes such as the annual performance management and review cycle. Actively support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across the business Lead on complex employee relations issues, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes. Provide coaching to leadership teams on effective colleague engagement and the resolution of people issues What you will need to be successful: Knowledge & Experience 5 years' HR Business Partnering experience Experience of working with and influencing senior management in large, highly matrix organisations Experience of managing a variety of employee relations issues HR or business degree or related discipline Skills and abilities Expert in stakeholder management, proven ability in building and managing strategic relationships Strong background in employee relations including managing and advising on investigations and complex cases. Excellent communicator who is comfortable influencing and presenting at senior levels High emotional intelligence and understanding of the different ways to be flexible and adaptable to different audiences Good understanding of current Irish Employment legislation Highly motivated, resilient and with the ability to operate in complex situations Experience working in change environments and ability to work with ambiguity at times Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and a solution-focused approach Demonstrated alignment to the Vhi values.
