About BBP Énergie Founded in 1984, BBP Énergie is a Quebec-based SME specializing in building automation and mechanical systems for the commercial and institutional sectors. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a passionate programmer to join our project team and provide technical support to our experts.
What you will do on a daily basis Reporting to the Automation Director, you will be the mastermind behind the HVAC system operating sequences. You will work within a dynamic team that includes other programmers and a graphic designer.
Your main responsibilities:
Programming: Configure and program DDC controllers to execute operating sequences.
Analysis: Understand operating sequences and ensure system performance.
Technical support: Assist technicians during commissioning on site.
Collaboration: Support the service department as needed for ongoing projects.
Your Profile
Experience: Minimum 2 years in programming (industrial/PLC or building).
Education: College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree (mechanical engineering, automated production) or relevant experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PID loops, PLC coding, and operational sequences.
Asset: Knowledge of building mechanics.
