Camping & Boating Advisor

The Camping & Boating Advisor is responsible for selling parts, and conducting RV show-throughs. This role requires strong customer service skills to assist customers in a clear and professional manner. Responsibilities

  • Dive headfirst into the world of outdoor recreation as you assist customers in selecting the perfect accessories for their camping and boating adventures.
  • Embrace the thrill of demonstrating the latest RVs, camping accessories, and boating gear, showcasing their features and functionalities with contagious enthusiasm.
  • Elevate the customer experience by recommending must-have accessories and upgrades to take their outdoor escapades to the next level.
  • Build lasting connections with outdoor enthusiasts, fostering a community of like-minded adventurers who share your passion for exploration.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in an RV, marine, or automotive role preferred.
  • Knowledge of RV systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, towing) and/or marine mechanics is a plus.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dealership and service area for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).
  • Frequently lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lbs. (such as parts, accessories, or tools).
  • Occasionally kneel, crouch, bend, or reach to inspect RVs and marine vehicles.
  • Ability to climb in and out of RVs, boats, and truck beds as needed for show-throughs and inspections.
  • Comfortable working indoors in an office/service area and outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).

Compensation

  • $18-22/hr DOE

This role begins with hourly/base pay during training. After training is completed, compensation shifts to include commission based on performance. With top performers between $45k & $55K annually. Benefits (eligible full-time team members)
