Role Description We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef for a full-time, on-site role at our Scituate, RI location. The Head Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision. This individual will be responsible for ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and leading the team in delivering an exceptional dining experience. Creativity, leadership, and operational efficiency are key components of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in menu planning, culinary creativity, and recipe development Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating Experience in kitchen staff supervision, training, and team leadership Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and supplier coordination Understanding and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations Excellent organizational and time management skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar establishment is preferred Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is a plus Passion for innovative cuisine and commitment to sustainable, locally-sourced ingredients
