Buyer's Assistant - Part Time

As a Buyers Assistant Production, you will play a vital role in supporting CarMax's Merchandising team by ensuring accurate inventory presentation and smooth operational processes. • Capture high-quality images of wholesale vehicles for CarMax websites.
• Secure and verify vehicles, ensuring appraisal information accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Perform vehicle confirmations and transfers, communicating details promptly and accurately.
• Assist with inventory optioning to maintain accurate vehicle data.
• Support lot staging and merchandising projects, partnering with Inventory and Sales teams.
• Provide auction support, including imaging, staging, scanning, and auction day assistance.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate across departments.
• Strong skills to read, interpret, and maintain accurate records.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Effective verbal communication and listening skills for internal and external interactions.
• Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
