Health Aide - Elementary K-5 Learning Opportunity Summer Program - 26-27

The Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Gregory Mott, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:

One (1) Health Aide Elementary K-5 Learning Opportunity Summer Program Poughkeepsie City School District

Qualifications: According to Civil Service Rules and Regulations candidates must complete a Frontline Internal Application for consideration of appointment.

Duties: The Poughkeepsie City School District (PCSD) is committed to providing students and parents with pathways to opportunity that will lead to achievement and success. Through student-centered effective and transformational leadership, school and community engagement, and an unrelenting pursuit to achieve greater school outcomes for children, the Poughkeepsie City Schools is focused on developing and growing greater access, equity, opportunity and quality across PCSD. The PCSD Elementary Learning Opportunity Program will provide academic enrichment for students in ELA and math.

Responsibilities: To support the school nurse when tending to the medical needs of students enrolled in the summer program.

Appointment: Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be conducted where appropriate.

Effective Date: July 7, 2026- July 30, 2026 Monday-Thursday, 8:30am - 12:30pm

Salary: Hourly rate as determined by contract
