*Job Overview*
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Project Manager who will take ownership of complex projects and drive them to successful completion. This role is essential for alleviating project management burdens and ensuring seamless execution across multiple work streams. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be adept at navigating parallel workflows in a dynamic environment.
_*Key Responsibilities*_
*Project Ownership: *
Take full ownership of clinical IT implementation projects, ensuring accountability and driving progress.
Experience with the following type of projects will be beneficial
· Manage the Windows 2016 replacement project, overseeing the migration of 150 servers and 500 applications within a six-month timeframe.
· Leading the implementation of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across multiple departments.
· Overseeing the migration of on-premises applications and data to a cloud-based infrastructure.
· Managing a cybersecurity enhancement initiative to upgrade the organization’s security measures.
· Coordinating the rollout of a telehealth platform, including integration with existing systems.
· Managing a network infrastructure upgrade to improve connectivity and performance.
· Leading the development of a mobile application for healthcare providers.
· Managing an interoperability project to improve data exchange between healthcare systems.
· Overseeing initiatives to ensure compliance with new healthcare regulations.
_Problem Identification and Resolution: _
· Proactively identify and address potential issues within project workflows, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including server operations, technology services, application support, and desktop engineers, to facilitate smooth project execution.
Communication and Collaboration:
· Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including technical teams, customers, and management.
· Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and documentation to ensure transparency and alignment.
Technical Knowledge:
· Leverage technical knowledge in server operations, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory to inform project decisions and strategies.
· Interface with various technology teams, including desktop engineers, to ensure that project requirements are met and that systems are integrated effectively.
Full Project Management Lifecycle:
· Manage the complete project management stack, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
· Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
· Demonstrated experience completing the full lifecycle of projects in an enterprise environment, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.
_*Qualifications:*_
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
· Minimum of 5-15 years of experience in project management in IT
· Experience managing projects in an Enterprise environment.
· 2+ years of experience managing projects in clinical settings.
· Proven track record of managing complex, long-term projects with multiple stakeholders.
· Experience completing the full lifecycle of projects in an enterprise environment.
Skills:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
· Experience with parallel workflows and managing multiple work streams simultaneously.
· Technical knowledge in server operations, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory is a plus.
· Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, PMP, or others.
Certifications:
· While certifications such as PMP are beneficial, they are not a requirement. We value practical experience and demonstrated success in project management.
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Columbia, MD 21046
