*Job summary*
Chenhall Pro is supporting Indian Affairs (IA) with planning, documentation, and advisory services for the recompete of the Trust Asset and Accounting Management System (TAAMS) — a mission-critical federal land and trust management platform serving 1.9 million American Indian and Alaska Native individuals.
We are looking for an experienced Task Lead to serve as a senior technical liaison between IA leadership, acquisition offices, and the current TAAMS vendor. This is a high-visibility role that requires someone who can hit the ground running on a live recompete — no ramp time available.
*Responsibilities*
* Advise the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on technical and acquisition considerations for the TAAMS recompete and related Probate modernization initiatives (eProbate, eNativeTrust)
* Assess TAAMS functionality, system dependencies, data rights issues, and transition risks
* Support development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGEs), budget justifications, and acquisition documentation
* Coordinate with the incumbent TAAMS vendor to surface transition risks and ensure government objectives remain achievable
* Prepare daily/weekly status reports, leadership briefings, and talking points for senior IA stakeholders
*Required qualifications*
* 6+ years of experience in federal program support, IT advisory, or acquisition roles
* Demonstrated experience supporting or managing a federal IT re-compete or major system transition
* Working knowledge of federal acquisition — FAR/DFAR, IGEs, SOWs, data rights
* Ability to coordinate diplomatically with incumbent vendors during a sensitive re-compete period
* Strong written communication skills — briefings, talking points, and reports for senior leadership
* Bachelor's degree required
* Liaise across IA leadership, acquisition, budget, and technical offices to ensure coordinated planning
*Preferred qualifications*
* 8–10 years of relevant federal experience
* Direct familiarity with TAAMS, eNativeTrust, eProbate, or DOI/BIA trust and land management systems
* Experience supporting Indian Affairs, Bureau of Indian Affairs, or DOI programs
* Master's degree in a relevant field

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
