Operating as a deliberately tight team, they have built a reputation for delivering quality over volume. The mechanical desk is growing carefully, with a focus on hiring senior engineers who can run their own projects, lead client relationships, and shape the direction of the practice as it scales. This is a senior-level hire for a mechanical engineer who has outgrown the cog-in-a-machine feel of a larger consultancy and wants visible impact on the design, the clients, and the business. Key Responsibilities Lead the mechanical design on live projects from concept through to completion across all RIBA stages Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects, building and maintaining long-term relationships Attend client meetings, present mechanical design solutions, and represent the consultancy externally with confidence and authority Produce and review mechanical calculations, draw...
