Hybrid – Washington, DC Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role focuses on defining high-quality requirements, supporting Agile delivery, enabling Program Increment (PI) planning, and ensuring solutions align with business and regulatory expectations—particularly within the banking domain. Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities: Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and integrating applications to define and document requirements using Epics, Features, and User Stories. Support backlog grooming and prioritization activities to ensure readiness for sprint execution and PI Planning. Prepare and deliver clear presentations for technical and non-technical audiences. Assist Product Owners during Pre-PI Planning and actively participate in PI Planning events. Conduct functional testing, analyze logs, metrics, and usage data to derive insights into system behavior and business relevance. Support Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Facilitate JAD sessions and collaborative requirement workshops. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and assume Scrum Master responsibilities when required. Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore delivery teams. Perform timely issue resolution and root cause analysis. Proactively manage deliverables, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with strong domain experience in Banking or Financial Services. Proven ability to write clear, precise, and testable user stories. Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical and business audiences. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities. Solid experience working within Agile and SAFe environments. Highly organized, with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
