We are looking for an IT Manager (m/f/d) at the next possible date.
Key responsibilities:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing outsourced and internal IT services across a large, geographically distributed hotel network. This includes managing technology vendors, coordinating projects, supporting hotel openings, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, and contributing to the long-term digital strategy of the organization.
Vendor & Service Management
Manage and oversee external IT service providers delivering operational support to hotel
Monitor and evaluate SLA performance and service KPIs, ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments
Ensure vendor deliverables align with company standards and expectations with full governance
Participate in service reviews, audits and procurement processes
Support vendor selection and contract negotiations
Hotel Lifecycle Support
Provide IT support across the hotel lifecycle, including openings and disposals
Coordinate vendors responsible for deploying infrastructure, systems and integrations
Project & Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and hotel performance through technology solutions
Ensure successful project execution (risk, quality, scope, timeline)
Support decision-making and arbitration processes to define and prioritize project opportunities
Provide strategic technology insights and recommendations to executive management
Drive modernization initiatives and support the organization’s digital transformation vision
Skills & qualifications:
Experience
Suitable experience in IT management or IT service coordination
Experience working within an outsourcing-based service delivery model
Strong vendor management experience
Background in hospitality, retail, or other multi-site environments is an advantage
Demonstrated success in delivering and managing complex IT projects
Technical Knowledge
Understanding of enterprise IT environments and cloud-based solutions
Knowledge of hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, GRMS, and BMS is required
Understanding of GDPR and security standards (PCI DSS is a plus)
Network and firewall management on master level
Additional Skills
Financial & Budget Oversight: Strong understanding of financial processes and tools (e.g., TRIRIGA) is required
Compliance & Security Oversight
Cost Optimization Oversight
Language Skills: Excellent command of both German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders
