SQL, SSIS, and Python
to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, reliability, and performance for analytics and business intelligence. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $105k/year & benefits (see below). Key Responsibilities: Data pipeline development : Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes using SQL and SSIS. Database management : Develop and maintain relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance tuning. Python scripting : Automate workflows, build data transformation scripts, and integrate APIs. Data quality assurance : Monitor, validate, and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaboration : Work closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets. Documentation : Maintain clear technical documentation for processes, pipelines, and data models. Requirements: Strong proficiency in
SQL
for complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with
SSIS
for ETL workflows and data integration. Solid knowledge of
Python
for automation, data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy), and API integration. Familiarity with
data warehousing concepts
and
cloud platforms
(Azure, AWS, or GCP). Understanding of
version control systems
(Git) and CI/CD practices. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience in data engineering or ETL development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred, but not required: Experience with
big data technologies
(Spark, Hadoop). Knowledge of
data visualization tools
(Power BI, Tableau). Exposure to
DevOps practices
