Reporting to the Engineering & Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day manufacturing quality, driving ISO compliance, leading corrective action activities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional or a recent graduate with relevant project or placement experience looking to develop their career within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities; Conduct product and process quality checks, document control activities, and internal audits Ensure all products are manufactured to specification and regulatory requirements Perform factory inspections and internal audits to identify non-conformances and improvement opportunities Complete incoming inspections against defined specifications Monitor Goods Inwards and Production areas to ensure consistent quality control and compliance Lead internal and external CAPA investigations, including customer complaints and supplier non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented Participate in customer visits and external audits as required Support and contribute to the supplier approval and evaluation process Take ownership of the equipment calibration process Identify, drive, and implement continuous improvement initiatives Liaise with internal stakeholders including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Logistics to support daily operations Act as a project team member for product development and site-based improvement projects Develop and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions to support manufacturing operations Act as a positive role model, promoting quality standards and company culture Requirements; Third-level qualification in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline Recent graduates will be considered where relevant project work or work placement experience is demonstrated Experience in ISO-regulated manufacturing environments, ideally within electrical and/or mechanical engineering Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles; a Lean qualification is advantageous but not essential Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong planning and organisational abilities, with high attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset Capable of building trust and credibility with colleagues and customers Eligible to work in Ireland with fluent spoken and written English Team-oriented, flexible, and open in communication Skills: quality QC manufacturing design electrical Benefits: Full company benefits
