Über
As an Ultrasound Tech RDMS RVT, you will perform a wide range of general and vascular sonographic examinations, including abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, small parts, and peripheral vascular studies, following established protocols and best practices. You will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients, optimizing imaging parameters, and applying your strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will carefully document and label images, enter accurate clinical information into the electronic medical record and PACS, and communicate significant or urgent findings to the interpreting radiologist or ordering provider in a timely manner.
You will interact directly with patients and families, explaining procedures in a clear and compassionate manner, helping to ease anxiety, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam. You will adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards, maintain ultrasound equipment in good working order, and promptly report any malfunctions or quality concerns. Your role will also include prioritizing exams based on clinical urgency, supporting emergent and add-on cases as needed, and collaborating with the broader care team, including emergency and critical care staff, to support patients who may require time-sensitive imaging.

This is an on-site clinical role within our Healthcare & Medical Services department, requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed to support patient care.
