We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in helping patients regain their ability to communicate effectively and improve their quality of life.
```Responsibilities```
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve their speech and language skills
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
```Qualifications```
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in acute care or critical care settings is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Pay: $48.28 - $51.41 per hour
