Über
Design, build, and maintain backend applications, microservices, and APIs that enable high scalability and performance Implement third-party integrations and external APIs to enhance the platform’s capabilities Ensure backend systems are secure, well-documented, and thoroughly tested Develop, test, and deliver client-facing, production-ready features Be a strong collaborator in a cross-disciplinary, remote Product Engineering team Effectively communicate while interacting with technical and non-technical audiences Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements Have a collaborative, data-driven, and iterative approach to building products Estimate product scope and timelines Jump in to work on various parts of the stack as needed Requirements:
Deep understanding and experience with cloud-based services, service design patterns, data structures, data integrations A collaborative, client-friendly approach to API design Experience with modern technologies (NodeJS/Typescript (or similar languages), AWS, Terraform, React) Strong understanding and value for all the layers of a production system including data, internal and third-party integrations, testing, and user-facing clients Familiarity with AWS infrastructure Experience building highly scalable and performant backend services strongly preferred Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment Experience in healthcare / virtual care preferred, FHIR experience a bonus An understanding of web/mobile uses cases and a willingness to jump into different parts of the stack when needed Benefits:
