POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located in Longueuil, the Jazz Longueuil residence, managed by Cogir, offers a friendly and stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those experiencing mild loss of autonomy. We are currently seeking a
Part-time position (temporary for the summer season), between 20 and 40 hours per week depending on needs, day and evening shifts from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., as well as weekends.
Students welcome.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards
• Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
• Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
• Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
• Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
• Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
• Perform other related duties
• Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
• Good team player
• Good communication
• Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset
