The Leasing Agent serves as the company's primary sales representative for prospective residents, responsible for driving occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building, and lease conversion. Responsibilities include establishing prospect rapport, identifying prospective resident needs, presenting compelling housing solutions, and closing leases.

Responsibilities:

  • Responds to and follows up on inbound and outbound inquiries to support occupancy goals
  • Engages with prospective residents through discovery conversations tailored to their needs and preferences
  • Presents available homes clearly and compellingly, addressing questions and navigating objections with confidence
  • Manages a pipeline of prospects, maintaining timely follow-up to drive lease conversions
  • Negotiates lease offers, explains lease terms and related documentation in an approachable, transparent manner
  • Partners with internal teams to move applications smoothly through the leasing process
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of inventory, pricing, market conditions, and company processes
  • Conducts all leasing activities in alignment with Fair Housing guidelines and applicable regulations

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in sales or other customer-facing roles, with a focus on relationship building and results required
  • A background in leasing, real estate, or property management is preferred
  • Active state real estate license required
  • Strong communication and listening skills, with the flexibility to adapt messaging to individual prospects
  • Comfortable negotiating terms, building rapport, and guiding conversations with confidence
  • The capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with common business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional discretion and a collaborative approach to working with internal partners

A performance-driven sales role with a guaranteed monthly bonus.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.00. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is eligible to receive monthly bonus payments.
