Cashier Position
The cashier is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests in a high-volume sports and entertainment environment. This role handles transactions, processes orders, and ensures a positive guest experience during games, concerts, and events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Guest Service- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic guest concerns.
- Maintain a positive, high-energy attitude during busy events.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions.
- Accept credit and cashless payments accurately.
- Follow all the company's payment processing procedures.
- Accurately input orders and communicate with the kitchen or service staff.
- Maintain speed of service during peak periods (halftime, intermissions, etc.).
- Ensure all items are properly rung up and delivered to guests correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Comply with all company policies, including alcohol service regulations if applicable.
- Work collaboratively with cooks, runners, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with restocking and setup/breakdown as needed.
- Support overall stand operations during high-volume events.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier, retail, or food service experience preferred.
- Experience in sports venues, stadiums, or high-volume hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events.
- Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 2530 pounds.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days.
- Must be available for games, concerts, and large-scale events.
