Technical Inside Sales Representative

The Technical Inside Sales Representative serves as both the face of Bray and the primary liaison for our valued customers. In this role, you'll manage direct communication with assigned customer accounts and coordinate with internal departments to ensure exceptional service and support.

Using Bray's systems and tools, you'll process sales orders, respond to inquiries, and facilitate solutions to ensure a seamless customer experience. You'll receive comprehensive training on Bray's products, systems, and processes while working alongside a dedicated, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, processing sales orders and responding promptly to customer inquiries, collaborating with internal departments to provide technical information, order updates, and expediting support, resolving issues efficiently and with a customer-first mindset, and maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely communication with customers and distributors.

Ideal experience and skills include 25 years of successful inside sales or customer service experience in an industrial environment (experience with valves or flow control products preferred), strong relationship-building and interpersonal skillsboth in person and virtually, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer applications, experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred, ability to understand and interpret technical information accurately, and highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required, strong understanding of an industrial manufacturing environment, and permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
