Business Development Manager Ireland (Field-Based) Location: Dublin + Nationwide Travel Salary: €60,000 €70,000 + Benefits We are partnering with a leading European distributor of data cabling and network infrastructure solutions to recruit a Business Development Manager for their growing Irish operation. With an established presence across Europe and strong partnerships with globally recognised brands, this organisation delivers high-quality solutions across commercial, industrial, and data centre environments. The Role This is a field-based, external sales role focused on developing new business opportunities and building relationships across the Irish market. You will spend approximately3 days per week on the road, meeting electrical contractors, consultants, and partners across various regions. The remaining time will be based from the Dublin office. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across Ireland Build and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, consultants, and partners Promote and support the specification of key product lines Drive sales growth across commercial, industrial, and data centre sectors Contribute to commercial strategy and market expansion Track pipeline and activity through CRM systems Provide market insights and reporting to the Sales Director Candidate Profile 35+ years experience inelectrical, data networking, or technical sales Proven experience inbusiness development / external sales Strong knowledge of theIrish electrical contractor market Experience working withchannel sales / distribution models Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Full driving licence (essential) Ideal Backgrounds Electrical wholesaler / distributor sales Lighting or electrical product sales Electrician or electrical engineer with sales experience Technical B2B sales within infrastructure / construction Package & Benefits €60,000 €70,000 base salary OTE Company car or mileage provided Pension Life assurance How to Apply: If you are interested in this role, please apply with your latest CV.
