Kitchen Manager | Secret Sandwich Society Morgantown, West Virginia | Suncrest Towne Center Full-Time | Salaried $47,000–$50,000 + Quarterly Bonus Secret Sandwich Society is opening in Morgantown, WV, and we’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to help build the kitchen, and operational standards from the ground up. We are looking for someone who fits our culture, and can lead by example. We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced kitchens, leads from the line, and values consistency, accountability, organization and strong team culture. This role is heavily involved in daily operations, prep systems, food cost controls, staffing, and maintaining high execution standards during service and at all times. What You’ll Do Lead daily Back of House operations Manage scheduling, staffing, onboarding, and BOH development Maintain food cost controls, ordering systems, inventory, and vendor relationships Uphold high standards for recipe execution, consistency, prep systems, sanitation, organization. Monitor labor efficiency, kitchen performance. Coach and develop kitchen staff through accountability and leadership Maintain strong communication between ownership, FOH leadership, and BOH staff Support a culture built around professionalism, urgency, respect, and teamwork What We’re Looking For 2+ years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant Strong line experience in prep-heavy kitchens Experience with inventory, ordering, food cost, and labor management Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable using Google Drive, spreadsheets, POS systems, and scheduling software Ability to lead calmly and effectively under pressure Food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Open and flexible availability Compensation & Benefits Salary: $47,000–$50,000/year Quarterly bonus program Health benefits Paid vacation Cell phone stipend Shift meals Manager dining discounts Team outings and staff events Why Secret Sandwich Society?
