My client, Irelands top Civil Engineering main contractor are now searching for a Civils Foreman for various infrastructure projects in Dublin. You will work closely with project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders to oversee the successful completion of projects. Role: Manage and supervise on-site teams, including tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out safely and to specifications. Coordinate daily activities, liaising with project managers, engineers, and planners to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Monitor work quality and compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations. Enforce health and safety guidelines, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment. Order and allocate materials, tools, and equipment as needed, and monitor usage. Identify and address any site issues swiftly to minimise delays or disruptions. Requirements: Proven experience as a Foreperson on civil engineering projects, preferably within Ireland or the UK. Strong understanding of civil engineering construction methods and materials. In-depth knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills with a collaborative approach to team management. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Full Irish drivers license.
