Luminis Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Pre-Anesthesia Testing team. This outpatient-based role focuses on pre-surgical evaluations and patient readiness for surgery while also serving as a clinical lead for departmental operations and scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, histories, and physicals for surgical patients

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe treatments as appropriate

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans

• Educate patients on surgical preparation, treatment plans, and preventative care

• Coordinate referrals to specialists or primary care providers when needed

• Serve as Lead NP overseeing clinical workflow, staffing, and scheduling

• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice

• Mentor and collaborate with clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner licensure

• American Heart Association BLS certification

• Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Surgical patient care experience preferred
