We are growing and seeking an experienced, customer-focused Project Engineer to join our North American team in Frederick, Maryland.

What You’ll Do
As a Project Engineer, you will lead projects from kickoff through installation and customer acceptance while serving as the primary technical liaison between customers, internal engineering teams, and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously from design through implementation
* Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and resources.
* Work closely with customers to ensure successful project execution and long-term satisfaction
* Collaborate with engineering, software development, and product teams in North America, Denmark and Finland.
* Support installation planning, commissioning, and system integration activities
* Identify risks, drive resolutions, and maintain project momentum
* Manage subcontractors, vendors, and third-party partners
* Create and maintain project documentation, and status reporting
* Support change management and identify opportunities for additional customer value
Customer interaction is a major part of this role, with approximately 30–40% focused on direct communication, coordination, and project delivery support.
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
* 4-year Degree.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
* Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
* Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive mindset
* Experience coordinating cross-functional and international teams
* Ability to drive schedules, follow up on action items, and maintain accountability
* CAD 2D and 3D knowledge.
Preferred Experience
* Mechanical design or electrical design background
* 5+ years of experience in project engineering or technical project management
* Experience with automation systems, conveyors, RFID, or industrial systems
* Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
* Experience working with software-integrated systems
* Leadership or team coordination experience
