Extractive Energy Investment Banking – Vice President (Director Track) We are hiring a seasoned banker for our oil‑field services practice in Chicago. The role focuses on transaction execution, new business development and mentoring with a progression path to Director.
Responsibilities
Conduct business development activities to identify, source, and introduce potential clients for M&A and capital‑raising assignments.
Participate in preparing client materials that describe business, market positioning and financial condition.
Identify potential buyers and investors for client businesses and contact them on the client’s behalf.
Develop a network of contacts in relevant fields to assist the firm in finding new clients and expanding relationships with potential investors.

Requirements
Expertise in energy, particularly oil‑field services, with operating or consulting experience preferred.
Five years of advisory‑related experience.
Prior investment‑banking experience and knowledge of the process and client expectations.

Investment Banking Analyst (Full‑time and Part‑time Remote) The Analyst program offers junior professionals exposure to multiple industries and transaction types, including M&A, financing and restructuring. Analysts work on small deal teams and may support senior bankers across the firm.
Responsibilities
Analyze historical financial statements and project financial outcomes.
Perform financial analysis and modeling.
Research company, industry, market, and competitor data, and conduct due diligence.
Assist in identifying prospective investors and strategic buyers.
Lead information‑collection efforts for buyer due diligence.
Prepare Confidential Information Memoranda and M&A/raising presentations.
Participate in client discussions and due diligence meetings, maintaining relationships with client personnel.
Support industry‑focused marketing initiatives.
Write market‑trend analyses and related research.
Desired Skills and Experience
Highest level of personal integrity, attention to detail and work ethic.
Strong undergraduate academic performance in finance or accounting.
Strong accounting and financial‑statement analysis skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
