The opportunity We're proud to make some of the UK's most loved food brands at Premier Foods. We're now looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality function at our site in Moreton, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of food safety, legality, authenticity and quality.
Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting Operations, leading a team of Technical and Quality professionals, and driving continuous improvement across the site.
What you will be doing:
Lead, coach and develop the site Quality team Ensure full compliance to the FSQMS, GMP, CCPs and process controls Assure all finished products are safe, legal and produced to specification Manage customer complaints, concessions, incidents and escalations Oversee raw material and packaging quality, including hold/release decisions Drive audit readiness and close out non-conformances Analyse data, identify trends and implement continuous improvement actions Partner with Operations, attending daily production meetings
What we need from you:
Intermediate HACCP qualification Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene or a related discipline Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG Strong leadership and people management capability Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
