About the Role StormTrap, an industry leader in stormwater management solutions, has a
Territory Sales Manager opportunity available in South Texas . This is a terrific opportunity for a talented technical sales and business development professional to join a growing group of committed teammates that provide stormwater management solutions to civil engineers, developers, municipalities and construction professionals.
The Territory Sales Manager (TM) is responsible for professionally representing the company and educating the marketplace on the company’s products via presentations and specification assistance, as well as value engineering our solutions into projects. The TM will coordinate the entire sales process by providing education, consultative design services and quotations in a defined geographical territory. The TM is responsible for getting the Company’s products into project specifications by working with civil engineers, developers, municipalities and construction professionals in a complex multi-stage sales environment.

Location This opportunity is
specific to South Texas
within our US “South Central Territory”. Preferable candidates to be located in South Texas (Houston area) .
Responsibilities
Conducting lunch and learn presentations and coordinating project specific meetings within the territory with new and existing target accounts
Identifying new project opportunities within the territory to establish an appropriate sales pipeline
Managing the multi-stage sales process for all opportunities in the territory (budget, specification, quotation and order)
Maintaining real-time, up-to-date visibility within the territory through the company supported CRM system (Salesforce), including sales data entry and activity tracking
Creating, updating and managing the annual territory sales forecast
Meeting or exceeding territory sales forecasts for all StormTrap products
Professionally representing the Company and establishing industry credibility through involvement within industry organizations
Initiating and attending appropriate business development networking opportunities (trade shows, client outings, etc.)
Working in a collaborative environment with all StormTrap departments
Desired Skills and Experience Professional presentation skills, technical aptitude, exceptional listening skills, excellent oral and written skills, as well as the ability to develop new opportunities are requirements.
Self-starter, accountable, ethical, hard-working, personable and able to work well independently and with others.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of Technical Sales and Business Development experience. Experience in stormwater management, construction or building materials industry is beneficial.
Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM, Microsoft Office and other standard office software
Outside Sales position with local travel in territory as required with periodic corporate meetings
Ability to accommodate an in-home office and work environment
Valid Driver’s License, current insurance and a good driving record
Travel High travel component (50% – 75%), within the territory, including regional and corporate meetings, and sales training as planned.
