Overview
Amazing Career Moments Happen Here. Transforming the insurance industry is ambitious, we know. That’s why at Applied, we’re building a team that shows up every day ready to learn, willing to try new things, and driven to deliver innovative software and services that make us indispensable to our customers – all within a culture built on values that make us indispensable to each other too. With 40+ years of experience in the Insurtech game, we’re not just redefining what’s achievable; we’re creating a place where amazing career moments are made possible. Position Overview
We’re searching for a Senior Services Advisor to join our Account Management team in a remote setting. We value team collaboration, diverse experiences, and the ability to take on challenges while maintaining a sense of humor. What You’ll Do
Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions with agency stakeholders to understand their current workflows and processes. Design end-to-end professional services project scopes and develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) that define project boundaries, deliverables, timelines, and the level of effort required from our services team. Identify potential blind spots during the pre-sales phase to ensure resource allocation is appropriate and to minimize future scope creep. Present project scope, phases, timelines and costs to executive-level stakeholders to secure buy-in and ensure organizational readiness. Partner closely with Sales, Implementation, Data and Solution Services to ensure a seamless handoff and that the vision sold is the reality delivered. When faced with a custom or creative solution, collaborate early with Services to validate customer requests. Collaborate regularly with Sales to identify opportunities for additional services for both new and existing customers. Serve as a key team member on assigned M&A programs to confirm the appropriateness of services required for successful data migrations. Provide regular updates to project teams and customers on project status and adherence to scope and budget. What You’ll Need
5+ years experience in Professional Services or Consulting, specifically in managing or scoping complex software implementations. 5+ years experience in the insurance industry with domain knowledge of insurance agency workflows, allowing you to anticipate customer needs and offer prescriptive guidance rather than just “taking orders.” Eye for detail to quantify effort accurately, ensuring that project timelines and budget estimates are realistic. Ability to visualize complex projects and break them down into actionable, phased implementation plans. Ability to push back gracefully on unrealistic client expectations and guide stakeholders toward the most effective project path. Prioritization skills to ensure timely deliverables and responses.
