The successful candidate will lead a team across maintenance, tooling and engineering functions and play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, capital project delivery, continuous improvement and site reliability. This role would suit an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys being close to the production floor, developing teams and driving operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the engineering function across a high-volume manufacturing facility. Oversee maintenance, tooling, facilities and engineering operations. Support day-to-day production performance and minimise downtime across the plant. Manage site utilities and facilities including HVAC, air, water and electrical systems. Lead capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects including budgeting, planning and implementation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production functions. Support process optimisation and operational efficiency improvements. Develop maintenance strategies and asset management systems. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, HR and senior leadership teams. Lead, mentor and develop engineering and maintenance personnel. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards. Participate in global engineering projects and cross-functional initiatives. Requirements Essential Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline. Strong experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Previous experience leading engineering, maintenance or technical teams. Experience working within high-volume production facilities. Strong understanding of maintenance, engineering operations and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
