Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active and unrestricted CNA certification
- Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to resident care
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene
- Help maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
- Prepare resident rooms with necessary supplies such as blankets, toiletries, and medical equipment
- Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Support residents with social engagement and emotional well-being
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations
- Work collaboratively with fellow caregivers and healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care
