Environmental Services Aide

CHI St. Joseph’s Health of Park Rapids, part of CommonSpirit Health, is an award-winning, 25-bed critical access hospital located in the heart of lake country. As our Environmental Services Technician, you'll keep our patient rooms and all areas of the hospital clean and sanitized. This protects everyone from potential illness or injury due to infectious diseases or other hazards.
Every day, you will perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, or dusting. You will also use specialized equipment and techniques to further sanitize our facility. This role requires you to learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, including bodily fluids or sharp objects. You may also refill soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and other supplies, as well as deliver clean linens.

What you'll do...

• Maintain and clean all department floors areas according to establish standards
• Maintain and clean all public area carpets or floors
• Remove all trash, biohazards, soiled linen to designated areas for pickup
• Maintain all grounds area by mowing or snow removal
• Restock any and all supplies within department areas
• Identifies and reports work orders to maintenance department

Preferred

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Healthcare housekeeping experience.
