**Job Title:** Mechanical Laboratory Technician
**Location:** Maplewood, MN (100% onsite)
Duration: 12 month contract
**Pay Range:$18 to $22 p/h on W-2**
**What's the Job?**
+ Configure, operate, and maintain process equipment, including lab-line systems
+ Measure and characterize the properties of nonwoven materials off the production line
+ Keep detailed records and communicate technical work and results effectively
+ Follow and develop standard operating procedures while adapting to changing priorities and run plans
+ Maintain a safe and organized work environment, handling materials such as lifting pails and moving pallets
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma, GED, or higher
+ At least one (1) year of technician or operator experience in an industrial setting
+ Experience implementing quality control tests and sampling
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with personal protective equipment such as steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and respiratory protection
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
