Summary of Position:
MedStar Health is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support senior leadership and drive operational efficiency across the department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and can serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and handling high-level communications with professionalism and discretion
* Lead day-to-day office operations and support department initiatives by managing reports, presentations, special projects, and ensuring deadlines are met
* Coordinate meetings and events end-to-end, including logistics, materials, minutes, and follow-ups, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Support financial and operational processes such as invoice tracking, budget reconciliation, supply management, and vendor coordination
Minimal Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
* 4+ years of administrative or executive support experience
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* Typing taking and transcribing minutes.
* Advanced Microsoft skills to include Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint etc.
* Ability to compose general correspondence and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications.
* Ability to interact professionally with peers associates executives board members medical staff government officials etc.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $59,820.00 - USD $101,836.00 /Yr.
