Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Associate's Degree from a speech language pathology assistant program recognized by ASHA; or Bachelor's Degree in speech language pathology; or Completion of a college-based speech language pathology assistant certificate program; and required education as designated by the State licensing board or other regulatory agency MUST be Licensed/Certified and in good standing in the State of California. Must have valid California driver's license and private transportation. Must possess or obtain valid First Aid and CPR certificates issued by an authorized agency within 30 days of employment.

Prior to final hiring and placement, the candidate must pass a Pre-Placement Physical Examination paid for by the Newhall School District. The candidate must also receive fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice.
