The McGuire Group is actively hiring a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Respiratory Therapist in New York State seeking a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and a supportive healthcare environment.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $35-$40 per hour
- Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling options available
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and airway management
- Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient/resident status
- Respiratory equipment management (if applicable)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with NYS and facility standards
- Educate patients, residents, and families on respiratory care plans
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist License (RRT required)
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospital, or long-term care preferred
- Strong knowledge of pulmonary care, oxygen therapy, and respiratory equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
