Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive service experience from start to finish. We have plenty of work and a strong, established customer base, supported by a team of experienced, tenured technicians.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Recommend necessary maintenance and repairs based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines
- Prepare and explain repair estimates and service timelines
- Communicate with technicians regarding diagnostics and repair status
- Keep customers informed throughout the service process
- Promote additional services when appropriate
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Maintain accurate records in the service management system
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic automotive knowledge required; technical background a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient with computers and service software
