* CCOS (Children's Clinical Outpatient Services) provides mental health care for children and adolescents, ages 2 years to 18 or older if they are still attending high school. The MA/MS Therapist - Reg Intern is responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist. This role involves delivering high-quality mental health care, assisting in the development of treatment plans, and supporting clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. The position is designed to offer practical experience and professional development for individuals pursuing licensure in the mental health field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address clients' mental health needs.
* Collaborate with licensed therapists to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment activities.
* Participate in regular supervision meetings to discuss client cases and receive guidance.
* Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during emergency situations.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy.
* Foster a supportive and empathetic environment for clients to facilitate healing and growth.
* Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the delivery of mental health services.
