We are currently seeking a **full time (0.9 FTE) day shift Mammography Technologist** to join our team at **Peace Harbor Medical Center** in beautiful **Florence, Oregon** . + **Competitive Compensation:** The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is **$46.87-$66.17.** The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
**Your Impact**
As a Mammography Technologist, you'll perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures, integrating technical expertise with compassionate patient care. You'll play a vital role in early detection and diagnosis, helping patients navigate their health journey with confidence and support.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet patient and physician needs.
+ Perform high-quality mammographic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
+ Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures.
+ Collaborate with physicians and team members to optimize diagnostic accuracy.
+ Maintain compliance with MQSA and ACR standards, including quality control documentation.
**Qualifications**
+ Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
+ ARRT certification in Radiography required; Mammography certification within 6 months of hire.
+ Oregon Radiologic Technologist license through Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) and BLS certification required.
+ Prior experience in mammography preferred.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
