PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform ultrasound and other procedures on patients as directed by physicians and advanced practitioners
* Routine and complex studies
* Assist physicians in a variety of imaging procedures
* Perform on all age groups from infants to adult/geriatric
* Organize processed images, measurements, calculations, and other data for physicians to interpret
* Maintain equipment and order/stock all ultrasound supplies
* Maintain department records, reports, and files
* Maintain continuing education requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Radiology Technology from an accredited institution; Registered ARRT by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
EXPERIENCE:
* One year experience in sonography applications
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Registry or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
* Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS preferred
* Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT)
