Here, you will work alongside passionate physicians, nurses, and other caregivers in a family-oriented, supportive environment.
As a Vascular Technologist, you will perform high-quality vascular ultrasounds. In this role, you will assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of disorders affecting the vascular system and perform non-invasive exams to assess for diseases or disorders. Every day, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients by ensuring they receive necessary care.
A PRN caregiver in this position works varying 8-hour shifts between 7:00AM - 7:30PM, including weekends. Although the main work location is Martin South Hospital, this caregiver may also be scheduled at Martin North, Tradition, St. Lucie West and Stuart Family Health Center.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
* Perform carotid duplex, venous duplex, arterial duplex, aortoiliac duplex, penile duplex and renal duplex.
* Dictate preliminary reports for physicians.
* Consult with vascular medicine physician for interpretation of test results.
* Maintain records of testing for documentation.
