This job is ON - SITE.
FTE:
Shift: Shift 1
Schedule: One 12hr day per week. Every third weekend Day Shift. 2 Holidays per year (assigned on rotation). Must cross-train to FWBH within 12 months of hire.
Job Summary:
The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) 2 is highly proficient in the management and delivery of respiratory care. Demonstrates competencies in respiratory assessments and procedures for all patient populations and age groups. Performs and interacts as a healthcare professional administering respiratory care procedures acute care areas and critical care areas. Demonstrates critical thinking skills and the mastery of clinical skills outlined in the RCP 2 COT. Precepts students on rotation. Exhibits leadership skills and is able to act as lead therapist as needed. Under the direction of the Pulmonary Services Leadership team, provides professional respiratory care to patients in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Minimum of 1 year of experience plus the ability to show RCP II competency within 6 months of hire/
