Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and setup of equipment and supplies for interventional neurology procedures.
* Operate imaging and monitoring equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, angiography) during procedures, ensuring optimal visualization and data acquisition.
* Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide patient care during procedures, including patient positioning, monitoring vital signs, and responding to patient needs.
* Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
* Assist with patient assessment, documentation, and post-procedure care as directed by healthcare providers.
* Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational readiness.
* Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain accurate records of procedures performed.
Requirements:
* Associates or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) preferred
* Previous experience in interventional radiology, neurology, or a related field.
* Proficiency in operating fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment.
* Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to neurology procedures.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
* ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
* Active and unrestricted RT license in the state of Florida)
* Minimum 3 years clinical experience. Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
* AART or equivalent (for RT position, not required for Scrub Tech)
* Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job. These include, but are not limited to, sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time, lifting, pulling, moving patients/objects > 50 pounds, and repetitive motions.
* Ability to multitask, prioritizes effectively, and must be a team player.
