Shift: 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >25 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Cheyenne Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: - Will need to know how to use the bronch adapter and assist with bronchs.
Required Credentials: - EPOC competency required.
Special Requests: - They do try to do block scheduling and will work with travelers.
Unit Details: - Typically first round is busiest with inhalers; assignments can go from 13 patients to start to 5 patients, staff fluctuates with volume, and you may move floors after first rounds. Vent assignments are 1:1-6. - Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients; high-acuity neonates are vented and shipped until transport arrives, babies may remain on CPAP, and the pediatric floor uses high-flow nasal cannula. - Inpatient coverage only; travelers do not cover outpatient or sleep lab and may become a preceptor. - If assigned to ER and ICU, you will stay there for the day; floor assignments fluctuate. - Draw ABGs with EPOC, perform EKGs as needed, assist with intubation, and assist with bronchs using a bronch adapter. No arterial lines. - Equipment includes Puritan Bennett 980 vents, Draeger nursery vents, Philips CPAP/BiPAP, DreamStation and V30, EV300 and V60, Optiflow, and Parapack for transport. - Provider support is on call 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No call. No holiday requirements.
Floating Requirements: - Will assist throughout the hospital.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
